POSITIVE ENERGY

Energy Sustainability in Our Kingston, PA Office

Our office was constructed in 2008 with two things in mind: celebrating sustainability and withstanding the future. To this end, you'll find: 18 solar panels lining the white roof, producing enough energy for the building and contributing excess energy back into the grid; smart window coatings and shades to reduce solar heat; energy recovery ventilation; individual energy efficient heating and air conditioning systems in each room; and a host of recyclable building materials used on the exterior and interior design, including concrete, bamboo and hardy plank. The look is modern and clean. The design is brilliant. In 2008, the building received the Wilkes-Barre Chamber Pride of Place Award for New Construction and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter Green Building Award.

Every year we host approximately 50 high school students for an informational tour because, in the words of Francis Bacon, knowledge is power.
